HOW IT WORKS / 01

YOU ASK.

You do not need a perfect prompt. You need a real question, an honest description, and a place to begin.

Start with the actual problem

LOCORBIT starts where the polished explanation usually stops: with the thing that is not working. A computer keeps crashing. An idea has no structure. A creative direction feels wrong. You have three possible approaches and no useful way to choose between them. Put that problem into ordinary words. The first message does not need to sound technical, impressive, or complete. It needs to identify what you are trying to change. “My laptop is slow” is a beginning. “My laptop freezes when I edit video, but everything else runs normally” gives the next step somewhere to go.

Say what a useful answer looks like

A question becomes easier to work with when the desired outcome is visible. Do you need an explanation, a diagnosis, a second opinion, a draft, or a sequence of steps? State what has to be preserved and what can change. A website repair that must protect an approved layout is a different job from a redesign. A quick workaround before a meeting is different from rebuilding an entire system. Tell the operator which job this is. Deadlines, budget limits, available equipment, and your own experience help define an answer that you can actually use.

Use the right entry point

ASK is the starting point for a question or a problem. CONTACT is the direct-message channel when the purpose is communication rather than troubleshooting or developing an answer. The homepage offers a compact question form; the dedicated ASK page gives the same request more room. A reply email is optional, but without a way to reach you, a personal follow-up may not be possible. Do not include passwords, recovery codes, or unrelated personal information. Share the minimum useful context, not the entire contents of your digital life.

Know what happens after Send

This beta interface submits a request. It is not a promise that a live conversation starts immediately, that an operator is available at that moment, or that an AI response has already been generated. A successful submission and a completed answer are different events. The next useful step is to understand the request, identify missing information, and choose an appropriate response path. The standard is simple: ask honestly, describe the outcome, and make the next exchange more useful than the last. You bring the question. The process should bring clarity—not another layer of confusion.

A good first question is not perfect. It is specific enough to start.
